About the author

Jan Bartelsman is a Netherlands-born and -based photographer and publisher specialising in books on food, wine, chefs, restaurants and hotels. Among his notable works are Magic in the Kitchen (Artisan, 2001), which features some of the best chefs of the United States, and Le Domaine de la Romanee-Conti (Lannoo, 2005), showcasing renowned Burgundy wines.
