In the last 18 years, ifva has ceaselessly extended its artistic footprint and showcased various media creations. This year it embraced the experimental spirit and took audiences along a dazzling visual journey. Featured artists included Hungarian computer animation pioneer Tamas Waliczky, world-renowned Japanese director Naomi Kawasem, Japanese new media artist Daito Manabe, local media artist Ip Yuk-yiu and many others, offering the most important experimental films and videos from ifva over the years, and allowing these almost forgotten works a chance to be appreciated anew.
